City Grocery, a landmark in the Oxford dining scene, founded by award-winning chef John Currence, announces its partnership with Dakota Shy Winery for a one-night-only dinner experience on Wednesday, September 27.
The dinner will include six courses created by City Grocery Chef de Cuisine, Eric Tait, with a wine pairing from the vast Dakota Shy Winery collection.
“The team at City Grocery, along with myself, are extremely excited about this upcoming dinner experience with Dakota Shy,” said chef John Currence, “We have known the folks at Dakota Shy for many years, during which we shared our aspirations for partnering on an exceptional dinner event. It is great to see the vision finally come to life!”
Founded by friends Todd Newman and Tom Garrett, Dakota Shy Winery was created with a determination to craft wines that would rival the best of what Napa Valley had to offer. Today, Dakota Shy Winery crafts a collection of wines, from the pinnacle of quality and luxury to world-class Cabernet Sauvignon that can be enjoyed every day. At the upcoming dinner, guests will begin the wine pairing with a Paul Laurent Champagne, followed by a variety of Cabernets including Rosé Cabernet, Napa Valley Cabernet, Atlas Cabernet, and the Social Currency Cabernet.
