The Holly Jolly Holidays have arrived, and Visit Oxford MS has unveiled the full lineup for its fifth annual celebration, offering even more festive ways to enjoy the season. Taking place November 23 through January 5 at the new location of mTrade Park, Holly Jolly Holidays will introduce the Walk of Lights, a dazzling display of custom-designed illuminations that pays homage to Oxford’s history from the famous Double Decker Bus to the Oxford skyline. Experiential favorites like Oxford’s beloved ice-skating rink and Santa Visits are also among the festivities at mTrade Park this year, offering one central location for families to experience the magic of the holidays.
“For its fifth anniversary, Holly Jolly Holidays has more ways to make memories with loved ones in Oxford,” said Kinney Ferris, executive director of Visit Oxford. “The city is a truly special place every holiday season, and we’re thrilled to make it shine even brighter this year with the addition of Walk of Lights.”
The Walk of Lights will transform mTrade Park’s northwest fields and more into a winter wonderland complete with a walk-through tunnel of lights, hot chocolate, s’mores by the fire, cookies, and more, but the treats extend well beyond the park. The Peppermint Trail returns to Oxford with participating local businesses offering peppermint treats, cocktails, gifts, and beyond, available wherever the peppermint sticker leads.
Santa will visit mTrade Park on November 23, November 30, and December 21 from 2 to 6 pm, and on December 14 from 4:30 to 8 pm.
Holly Jolly Holidays is open from November 23 to January 5 on Wednesdays – Fridays from 4 to 9 pm, Saturdays from 11 am to 9 pm, and Sundays from 4 – 9 pm. The Walk of Lights will open at 4 pm.
All sales and entries must be made before 8:30 pm. Festivities are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Special extended hours are available Thanksgiving week, open November 25 – 27 from 11 am to 9 pm.
