Thousands of Ole Miss Rebels and Alabama Crimson Tide fans took over the Oxford, Mississippi Square following Ole Miss’ historic victory over top-ranked Alabama on Saturday, October 4, 2014.
As students paraded a section of the Vaught-Hemingway goalpost around town, many others partied on in local clubs and the streets.
Even Alabama fans seemed to enjoy themselves.
Our local police were on the scene and in guard of the atmosphere of celebration.
