Thinking about spring? Would you like to know how fruits and vegetables get from ground to table? Or would you just like to know something about how to grow different plants? Do you like to be outdoors and meet others in the community? Do you lack a sunny yard and need a place to grow vegetables and flowers? By all means, come to the Oxford Community Garden Association 2015 annual meeting! We are folks who like to learn, grow, harvest and share what we do with others in the community.
There are opportunities to become members, rental/renewal of plots in sizes 4’x8’; 10’x16’; and 16’x16’. One does not have to have a plot to work with the Oxford Community Garden Association. Come by and learn more about opportunities to be part of a community, try new ideas, work with others (we cultivate plots for donations to the Pantry), or try your own hand at growing fruits and veggies. We are excited about sprouting those early season peas, beets, cabbages, greens, herbs, etc. We provide the tools (wheelbarrows, shovels, gloves, etc.). You bring your willingness to explore, grow, and know the food (or flowers) on your table.
