Together Oxford is a community workshop aimed at educating on the importance of dialogue amongst neighbors, friends, and coworkers.
The workshop panel will be led by Tony Caldwell and Jandel Crutchfield of the University of Mississippi Department of Social Work. The evening’s topic at hand will be, “Relationship building, peaceful and constructive dialogue, and the strengthening of empathy and compassion by addressing issues of privilege, race, and violence through the lense of family systems and recovery models.”
The event will be held at Paris Yates Chapel on the University of Mississippi’s campus. Admission is open to the public and everyone is welcome to invite any who would like to join. The coordinators have asked specifically that campus groups and organizations as well as area faith communities invite their members and associates.
