The inaugural Oxford Day for Art Awards were held last night at 8 pm at The Powerhouse. The awards acted as both a fundraiser for the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and to celebrate the community that keeps Oxford full of culture. There was art exhibited in the main room and stage performances from Theatre Oxford as well as Hinge Dance Company.
This year featured eight awards withs winner consisting of familiar and not-so-familiar names. Check out the full list below and make sure to be there for next year’s Oxford for Art.
