The Oxford Police Department was contacted on February 21, 2018, by a local bank who stated that Gerrica Cole (23 of Memphis, Tennessee) used a fraudulent credit card to obtain $3,000 from them. She attempted to go to another branch of the same bank to get more money but was denied. A warrant for felony credit card fraud was issued for Cole. On April 16, 2018, OPD was contacted by the Wiggins, Mississippi Police Department who stated Cole was in their custody on an unrelated charge. She was picked up and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where her bond was set at $5,000.00.
