On Wednesday May 27, 2015 Officers with The Oxford Police Department responded to Rubin Drive Apartment #7 in reference to a domestic disturbing where the husband reported being cut by the wife. After arriving on the scene Officers arrested Suzanne Clark Clemens 39 years of age from Oxford, MS for Domestic Violence- Aggravated Assault. Clemens bond was set at $1,500.00 Picture sent separately.

Felipe Armendariz – Burglary
On Saturday, May 23, the Oxford Police Department received a call about an unknown subject that broke into 1802 Jackson Avenue West Apt 181. A female caller stated the person inside the residence saw her and ran out the front door. Officers arrived on scene and saw a Hispanic male later identified as Felipe Alejandro Saucedo-Armendariz (33, Oxford, MS) leaving the apartment. When he saw us a foot pursuit began, Armendariz caught, arrested and charged with burglary. It is unknown at this time if Armendariz is connected to any other burglaries in the area. Armendariz was taken to Justice Court where he was given a bond of $5,000.

On Saturday May 16th 2015, Oxford Police Officers arrested Kevin Tharp 39,of Hollandale, MS. This was a result of a traffic stop made on this subject after he was reported as being involved in a domestic situation. After an investigation it was determined that he did assault the victim, he was arrested and bond was set at $5,000.

On Thursday, May 7, the Oxford Police Department arrested David Ewing(18 of Vardaman, MS.) for Burglary. On April 26, 2015 a burglary occurred at Solo Apartments on University Avenue. Ewing was identified as the man who entered the residence and the crime was caught on video. Ewing was arrested for burglary and was given a bond of $2,500.

On Wednesday, April, 29, 2015 the victim of credit card fraud came to Oxford Police Department to report someone had used over $16,000.00 on his credit card. The victim stated that some of the charges occurred in the city limits of Oxford. After an investigation, it was determined that Eric Stacy, Sr. was the suspect. Eric Stacy, Sr. was charged and booked with Felony – Credit Card Fraud [97-19-(c)(i)] and his bond was set at $2,500.00
Terry Lee McCullar, 56, of Batesville
On Friday, May 1, Investigators with the Oxford Police Department arrested Terry Lee McCullar (56 of Batesville, MS) for Felony- Malicious Mischief. McCullar was arrested after an investigation into a vehicle being keyed at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Investigators were able to identify the truck that McCullar was driving and place him at the scene when the vehicle was keyed. He has been charged and was given a bond of $1,000.
