Teresa Mendez Figueroa, 24 years old of Abbeville, Mississippi.
On May 27, 2024, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Unit received a report from Child Protective Services of a child that tested positive for methamphetamine.
As a result of the investigation, Teresa Mendez Figueroa, 24 years old of Abbeville, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with Child Endangerment on Thursday May 30, 2024.
Figueroa appeared before a Justice Court Judge on Friday, May 31, 2024, and given a bond in the amount of $40,000.00.
The bond was revoked due to Figueroa currently being out of jail on a felony bond.
Figueroa is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center awaiting trial.
