On Saturday June 24, the Upsilon Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host a public forum at the Lafayette County Chancery Building Courtroom # 1, 300 North Lamar Boulevard, from 2 to 3 pm.
Gubernatorial Candidate Brandon Presley, Lafayette County Supervisor candidates, and Mississippi House of Representatives candidates are scheduled to attend. Additionally, the Lafayette County Election Commissioners will be present to sign-up persons interested in becoming poll workers for the upcoming primary and general elections and the League of Women Voters will be available to register voters.
