Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since February 2020 now stands at 309,223, with 7,153 deaths. 297,362 Mississippians are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.
There are 19 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 157 patients currently hospitalized for confirmed COVID-19. There are 58 patients currently in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19. There are 173 available intensive care beds statewide.
