- f) Request approval for two officers to attend the Mississippi STARS Conference from September 24-26, 2014 in Olive Branch, MS at a cost of $533.76, to be reimbursed by grant. (Joey East)
- g) Request approval for two School Resource Officers to attend training in Biloxi, MS on September 30-Octover 1, 2014 at a cost of $518.00. (Joey East)
- h) Recommend approval of Destany Staten as a taxi driver. (Joey East)
- i) Recommend approval of Charles Johnson and Matthew Rankin as pedicab drivers. (Joey East)

- Announce vacancy on the Oxford University Transit Commission.
- Adopt proclamation declaring September 17–23, 2014 as Constitution Week.
- Request appeal of Courthouse Square Historic Preservation Commission’s denial of Case #156 for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the PURERYDE Sign at 319 North Lamar Boulevard, Suite 102.
- Public hearing and consideration of adoption of recommended amendments to Section 148.07 of the Land Development Ordinance (N-C Neighborhood Conservation Overlay District Section 148.07 Design standards- Old Town Oxford (except downtown business)) 3. To reduce the lot coverage in RB and RC and adding subsections 14. And 15 to limit the number of units and bedrooms allowed in two-unit and multi-unit development in the Neighborhood Conservation Overlay District.
- Public hearing and consideration of adoption of recommended amendment to Section 134.02 of the Land Development Ordinance to remove residential condominiums (three or more units) and residential townhouses (three or more units) as uses permitted by special exception in districts zoned RB, and to clarify that bed and breakfast facilities may be permitted by special exception in districts zoned RB. - Third reading and vote for recommended amendments to the Section 117.13 and Section 154 of the Land Development Ordinance regarding permissible Bed and Breakfast facilities. (Andrea Correll)
- Third reading and vote for recommended amendments to Section 117.74 and 192.09 (2) of the Land Development Ordinance to define and regulate “franchise architecture’ in the downtown area. (Andrea Correll)
- Third reading and vote of recommended amendment to create a new Planned Employment Center Overlay District as Section 145 of the Land Development Code. The intent of the Planned Employment Center Overlay District to provide for the development of aesthetically attractive working environments, exclusively for research and development institutions, tech business in campus like settings, which are compatible with the surrounding area. - Third reading and vote to delete phrase from Section 227.02, Planning Commission Appeal Procedure. (Andrea Correll)
- First reading of an ordinance amending Section 102 Article XVI – Method of Parking. (Matt Davis)
- Report from Historic Properties Commission. (Jim Pryor)
- Approve and accept donation’s from Cedar Oak Guild of $3,000.00 and the Lamar Fund of $1,000.00. (Jim Pryor)
- Accept into the record the lists of privately owned/loaned assets in the two properties. (Jim Pryor)
- Approve the transfer of any surplus budget funds into the major repairs/capital improvements fund, about $18,000.00. (Jim Pryor)
- Appoint Lynn Wells (Cedar Oaks Guild), Elizabeth Speed (at large appointment) and Robert Saarnio (Lamar Society to the Historic Properties Commission.
- Discuss architectural proposal for design of Visit Oxford Visitor’s Center and gateway to the square.
- Discuss establishing a committee for Parking Garage and Visitor’s Center.
