The University of Mississippi Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) will host its third annual IMC Connect! from March 25–27, 2024. To support the conference, PRSSA members are holding a “Connect 10” raffle with prizes, up to $300 in value, including footballs signed by Lane Kiffin, senior graduation photo shoots, European facials, a Library card and more!
Entries are unlimited, participants can pay in cash or through Venmo (@olemissprssa). After paying for a ticket, individuals should fill out the Google form linked here to provide their contact information to win. (One Google form should be completed per entry!)
In order to be eligible to win a prize, raffle ticket holders must be present at the evening ice cream social of IMC Connect! on Wednesday, March 27.
The student-led IMC Connect! team have been working year-round to plan the event, in addition to organizing this raffle to create a revenue stream. Funds raised will support offsetting the costs of catering and speaker travel for the conference.
Since its creation in 2022, IMC Connect! brings together top communications executives and leading researchers. This year’s conference provides an overview of several subfields (e.g., internal communication, health communication, sports communication, crisis communication) as well as tips and best practices for career success in general. Throughout a series of panels, workshops, and breakout sessions, participants will be able to learn from and network with leaders in integrated marketing communications (IMC), from both research and practice.
“I’d like to encourage everyone to attend this event, which is FREE for Ole Miss students, faculty, and staff and $45 for external stakeholders,” said Dr. Amanda Bradshaw, faculty advisor of PRSSA. “These sessions are important for communicators at all stages of their careers, from high schoolers and college freshmen who are just beginning to scratch the surface of what it means to find their calling through the most senior communicators.”

The UM PRSSA chapter was founded in November 2021 and was recently recognized as a Star Chapter by the national PRSSA organization. As a professionally focused student organization, we seek to provide students with opportunities to: enhance their educations, broaden their networks, and launch their careers. The annual IMC Connect! conference provides students with the rare chance to do all three at the same time. In addition to planning the annual conference, PRSSA plans other networking events, educational programs, and professional development workshops throughout the year as well as supports student travel to the international ICON conference and to Leaders’ Academy. These opportunities allow students to further prepare for their transition into the public relations industry following graduation.
