This weekend, Oxford, Mississippi will see floods of tourists interested in grabbing up as much art, music, and food that they can. Keeping an eye over everything will be the Oxford Police Department. Part of their job is clearing out areas that will need to be used by the festival for staging and facilities.
“At 4 am on Friday morning, Vehicles parked in certain areas on The Square will be towed to prepare for the annual Double Decker Arts festival,” said Oxford Police Department in a press release. “If a vehicle is towed, the owner may call the Oxford Police Department for assistance.”
The areas that will be towed Friday morning at 4 am are marked in red on the maps below.
The department will have increased presence throughout the weekend and will be easily spotted if assistance is needed.
