On Sunday, October 1, 2023, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, were dispatched to 114 County Road 251 for a domestic that had occurred. Upon arrival, Deputies determined that 36 yr old Brandon James Moore of Oxford was the aggressor and Deputies arrested him.
Deputies investigated the victim’s injuries and discovered she had bruising around her neck from where Mr. Moore had choked her. Mr. Moore, was then transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center and charged with Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault.
Brandon Moore’s bond was set at 7,500.00 by Lafayette County Justice Court.
