Shaun Houston Boyette.
On Monday – February 12, 2024, at approximately 00:25 hrs., Deputy Vaughn conducted a traffic stop on County Road 5011 in Harmontown for suspicious activity.
Deputy Vaughn spoke with driver later identified as Shaun Houston Boyette. During his investigation Deputy Vaughn arrested Mr. Boyette for DUI. After the arrest Deputy Vaughn located a pistol in the door of Mr. Boyette’s vehicle.
Deputy Vaughn later confirmed Mr. Boyette was a convicted felon with a charge of Grand Larceny out of Panola County. Mr. Boyette was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and given a bond of $10,000.00 by a Justice Court Judge.
