On April 21, 2024, a Deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to County Road 504 to take report of a shed that had been burglarized.
After arriving, the Deputy was informed Nathan Daugherty (white male, 37 years old) was seen fleeing the scene carrying a chainsaw by the victim.
Mr. Daugherty was subsequently arrested for commercial burglary and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center. Mr. Daugherty was later issued a $5,000.00 dollar bond by a Lafayette County Justice Court Judge.
