On Monday August 17, 2020, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department began an investigation regarding several thefts in the Harmontown community. During the course of the investigation, several arrests were made in conjunction with the thefts.
Investigators arrested Joshua Wilson, 24 years old, and Zachary King, 24 years old for Commercial Burglary. Wilson and King were both set a $10,000 bond by a Justice Court Judge.
William Huguley, 50 years old, was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property, and given a $2,500 bond.
Investigators also arrested Daryl Collier, 38 years old, following a traffic stop on Highway 310 earlier in the week. Collier is a previously convicted felon, and a firearm was located in his vehicle during the traffic stop. Collier was later released on a $5,000 bond for Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
