Bowling and Family Entertainment Center to Open in Phase 2
Memphis, Tenn – Monday, June 9, 2014 – Malco Theatres is pleased to announce that site work is complete and construction has begun on its bowling and family entertainment center in Oxford, Mississippi. Completion is set for early 2015.
The Premier Lanes Entertainment Center, located at the corner of Sisk Avenue and Highway 7 next to the Oxford Commons Cinema, will feature a new ultra-modern bowling center with miniature golf and a laser maze.This will be Malco’s second Family Entertainment Center, joining the recently opened Premier Lanes and Family Entertainment Center in Gonzales, Louisiana.
The new building will encompass approximately 45,000 square feet and feature a full-service bar and café with oversized TV screens, 14 lanes of open bowling and six lanes of boutique bowling for VIP events, as well as a pro shop, an arcade, and prize redemption center. Additional amenities will include league and cosmic bowling, birthday parties and group functions.

Malco just opened the Gonzales Cinema in Gonzales, LA, completing its first Bowling/Family Entertainment Center/Cinema complex, as well as the Olive Branch Cinema in Olive Branch, MS. Malco also recently completed the renovation of the Ridgeway Cinema Grill (formerly the Ridgeway Four Cinema) in Memphis, the Forest Hill Cinema in Germantown, Tennessee and the newly acquired Winchester Cinema in Winchester, KY. Upcoming projects include Millington, TN; and Jackson, TN, along with several unannounced locations.
