A search is underway for local drummer Jason Brombach, who has not been seen or heard from since Friday night. Brombach is the drummer of the Oxford, Mississippi punk rock band 1 Last Chance. The band played a show at the Buccaneer in Memphis, Tennessee on Friday, June 6, 2014.
Guitarist Brandon McDaniel said he dropped Brombach off at the Kroger in Oxford, Mississippi after returning from the show. McDaniel said Jason may have suffered an injury at the show, but did not want to go to the hospital.
“He got in the pit at the show and got backed into the sharp end of a table,” said McDaniel. “I looked at it and it just seemed like a bruise but he said it hurt pretty bad. I offered to take him to the ER but he said he would be alright. I probably should have done it anyway in hindsight.”
McDaniel said that he dropped Brombach off at his car in the Oxford Kroger parking lot and that Brombach went inside to get some headache medicine. That was the last time any of his friends or family have seen or heard from him. The vehicle is no longer at Kroger.
Jason Brombach drives a 2002 silver BMW x5 with the plate number LXE050.
