Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 751 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 10 deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 85,116, with 2,536 deaths.
Currently there are 667 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 175 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.
There are now 160 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).
