Robrecus Toles is a history PhD candidate at the University of Mississippi researching the United States since the Civil War, African History, and African American History. His dissertation research focuses on the Council of Federated Organizations and the Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi between 1961 and 1965. He lives in Mississippi with his wife and three kids.
