Ole Miss Football now has its entire slate for the 2024 season following a primetime unveiling on ESPN by the Southeastern Conference on Wednesday night.
The Rebels open the season at home against Furman (August 31) and again in Oxford against Middle Tennessee (September 7) before Ole Miss’ first trip to Wake Forest (September 14) since 2008.
Ole Miss then returns home to host Georgia Southern (September 21) before opening SEC play at home vs. Kentucky (September 28). The following week, the Rebels will make their first trek to South Carolina (October 5) since 2009, and will remain on the road the next week to take on LSU (October 12) in Baton Rouge.
After the first of two open weeks, Ole Miss will return home to host SEC newcomer Oklahoma (October 26) in its first-ever trip to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium—just the second matchup in series history between the Rebels and Sooners alongside a 27-25 Ole Miss victory in the 1999 Independence Bowl.
The Rebels return to the road the following week at Arkansas (November 2) before welcoming in Georgia (November 9) for its first trip to Oxford since 2016. After Ole Miss’ second bye, the Rebels will make their first trip to Florida (November 23) since 2015 before closing out the regular season at home with the annual Battle for the Golden Egg against Mississippi State (November 30; date subject to change).
Each SEC team will play eight conference football games plus at least one required opponent from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 or major independent, and each team will have two open dates.
The 2024 season will be the first year the SEC will play a schedule without divisional competition since 1991. The top two teams in the league standings based on winning percentage will play in the 33rd SEC Football Championship Game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday, December 7.
The complete list of 2024 football schedules can be found on the SEC’s official website, SECsports.com. Dates are subject to change for television.
Don’t miss any of the action in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in 2024. Fans interested in football tickets should enter the Party in the Sip Sweepstakes.
