Randy Ferguson plays at 3:30 pm on Saturday, October 8
Singer, songwriter, and entertainer Randy Ferguson returns to perform and serve as Blues Host of this year’s Oxford Blues Festival. Randy grew up in West Tennessee between Memphis and Nashville in the 70s so it’s only natural that his songs contain elements of blues, country, rock, gospel, and rockabilly.
His song “Walking Into Clarksdale” typifies the day in the life of a blues man. Randy has honed his craft in Mississippi and Tennessee juke joints and honky tonks for over four decades, and has for the last several years served as Music Therapist for Specialty Hospice, LLC, regularly bringing the joy of the blues to the residents of Mississippi’s Senior Care Facilities.
