Oxford, Miss.—Arts, crafts, vintage, and food vendors from around North Mississippi will converge upon Oxford on Saturday, August 1, for the fifth installment of Oxford Flea, organized by Liz and Benjy Foster and sponsored by HottyToddy.com.
Held in the parking lot of HottyToddy.com at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Molly Barr Road from 8 am until 1 pm (new summer hours), the next Oxford Flea promises more new items. “You’ll find familiar vendors from previous markets mixed in with new vendors ready to showcase fun and unique items,” says Liz Foster. “Dennis Van Oostendorp from local favorite 6 ‘n’ Tubbs will also be there to debut his NY-style bagels.”
Oxford Flea began on April 4 and occurs once per month. “We’ve enjoyed getting to meet new vendors and shoppers at the Oxford Flea events,” Benjy Foster says. “Attendees and vendors have a great time mingling and making deals; Oxford has shown us it was ready for an outdoor flea market.”
See the growing vendor list at www.OxfordFlea.com and follow Oxford Flea on Facebook. Interested vendors are invited to register online at OxfordFlea.com ($40 for a 10×10 spot).
You can park at the Ford Center on Gertrude Ford Blvd., or on Washington Ave. at Oxford Middle School or the Stone Center—all short walks down the Depot Trail.
