On June 9, 2024, Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a residential burglary on Post Oak Drive in Old Oaks of Oxford subdivision.
On June 10, 2024, Deputies took report of an attempted burglary on Turkey Oak Drive in Old Oaks Subdivision as well.
32 year old Robert Houston of Oxford was later identified as a suspect in the matter. Robert Houston was subsequently arrested for Burglary and booked in at the LCDC on the charge along with a hold being placed on Robert Houston for a probation violation.
On June 11, 2024 a Lafayette County Justice Court Judge issued a $25,000.00 bond to Robert Houston.
