38 year old Andrew Shane Parker of Oxford, Mississippi.
On Sunday, June 16, 2024, at approximately 1:15 pm the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a careless driver. The caller was able to give a description of the vehicle and license plate. Deputies arrived in the area and was able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle.
The driver identified as 38 year old Andrew Shane Parker of Oxford was arrested for DUI. During the investigation, Deputies found Mr. Parker was previously convicted of DUI 3rd in Union County. Mr. Parker was then transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked in.
Mr. Parker was charged with DUI 4th or greater, and was issued a bond of $25,000.00 by a Justice Court Judge.
