At approximately 4 am on Sunday, April 28, 2019, the Oxford Police Department responded to 1101 Frontage Road for an unresponsive infant.
When officers arrived, they began CPR until emergency medical services arrived. The infant was later pronounced deceased at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Investigators were called to the location and have one person in custody.
Stephanie Henry, 31 of Oxford, has been charged with Manslaughter-Culpable Negligence for the death of her infant child. She was taken before a Justice Court Judge and her bond was set at $250,000.
This investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
