How often do we see Christmas ads before Halloween? In an effort to bring focus back to Thanksgiving, the Oxford Park Commission has created a new contest that will promote the spirit of this great American holiday, and promote some local businesses at the same time.
OPC has set up “Find Tom” stickers in 10 different stores and businesses located in and around the West Jackson Avenue. Each of these businesses have set aside prizes for those that find our feathery friend.
Those participating include The Nail Shop, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Shades, Smoothie King, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Buffalo Wild Wings, Mugshots, Hawaii Poke & Grill, and Lost Pizza Company.
Visit Oxford has also donated a t-shirt and bottle to the prizes. The contest will run from Monday, November 2nd until Monday, November 23rd.
If you locate Tom Turkey in a participating business, take a picture of it with your cell phone, share it on social media, or contact Emily Keiser at Oxford Park Commission by email ekeiser@OxfordParkCommission.com or call her at 662-816-1888. Each prize will be awarded by Emily Keiser.
Have fun and happy hunting!
