The Oxford Police Department has arrested Ben Mikell, 39, of Oxford, Mississippi, in connection with an ongoing stalking investigation.
On December 3, 2024, officers were contacted by a victim who reported a concerning incident involving suspicious activity near her vehicle in a parking area located in the 1000 block of Belk Boulevard. Following the report, detectives conducted an investigation and reviewed surveillance footage from the area.
Based on the evidence gathered, a warrant was issued for Mikell’s arrest on a charge of Aggravated Stalking. Patrol officers located and took Mr. Mikell into custody the following day without incident. He was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center, where he is awaiting an initial appearance.
