Lisa Birdsong Hale, 66, of Sardis, Mississippi.
On October 4, 2024 the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report regarding an unreturned rental vehicle from Enterprise Rental Service. After an investigation, a warrant was issued for Lisa Birdsong Hale, 66, of Sardis, Mississippi for Theft of Rental Property.
Detectives with the Oxford Police Department coordinated with Panola County Sheriff’s Department and Batesville Police Department to locate Hale. Hale and the stolen vehicle were located and Hale was taken into custody and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
Hale was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing. The Oxford Police Department would like to thank the Panola County Sheriff’s Department and Batesville Police Department for their assistance in this case.
