On January 22, 2021, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department charged 41 year old Patrick “PJ” Pegues of Oxford, Mississippi, with felon in possession of firearm, possession of stolen firearm, and aggravated assault.
Deputies with LCSO responded to Baptist Oxford for a victim with a gunshot wound. After deputies arrived it was determined the shooting took place on County Road 215 and an investigation was opened.
Patrick was arrested on January 25, and bond was set at $50,000.00.
