About the author
Jeff Roberson has written about sports in his home state of Mississippi for more than three decades. He is coauthor of Midnight Train, the life story of former Ole Miss quarterback and Songwriters Hall of Fame member Jim Weatherly. Roberson is currently an archivist and historian in the Ole Miss athletics department. He has attended more than forty Egg Bowls.
