On May 1st, 2022, the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report regarding a sexual assault that occurred over the weekend.
After investigation, Adam Michael Prewett, 43, of Taylor, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with Sexual Battery.
Prewett was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge and issued a $20,000 bond.
