TEDx is accepting nominations for eight speaker slots for this year’s TEDxUM.
TEDx is an offshoot of the popular TED talks. “x” signifies that the event is an independently organized “ted-like” experience.
If you or someone you know has an idea that you feel should be presented on a widely-viewed platform fill out this form and submit it to TEDx for the TEDxUM series.
The complete press has been included below:
Do you have an idea worth spreading or know of someone who does? Here is your opportunity to share that idea with the world! The window to nominate ideas and speakers for TEDxUM 2017 is open now through April 18.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. These are programs of local, self-organized events bringing people together to share a TED-like experience.
Last year’s event featured 10 speakers, including one, Dr. Gregory Heyworth’s, whose talk has now been viewed more than half a million times. This year we seek to fill eight speaking spots.
To nominate an idea or an individual speaker (we accept self-nominations), complete this nomination form: http://goo.gl/forms/OAza1cIcPG no later than 5pm on Monday, April 18, 2016.
