Darrion Morris (29 years old) of Oxford, Mississippi.
On October 12, 2024, Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation on Highway 6 West. During the course of the stop, Deputies discovered that Darrion Morris (29 years old) of Oxford, Mississippi to be in possession of a firearm. Deputies discovered Darrion to be a convicted felon and that he also had an outstanding warrant with MDOC.
Deputies arrested Darrion for weapon possession by a convicted felon and transported him to Lafayette County Detention Center. Darrion was given a $10,000 bond for the weapon violation set by the justice court. Darrion is currently an inmate at the Lafayette County Detention Center with a hold for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
