The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association presents the 2017 Down on Main summer concert series music lineup.
Down on Main is a free summer concert series held in Fairpark on the second Thursday of July, August and September. Specific dates are July 13, August 10 and September 14.
July 13 will feature Heath Green and the Makeshifters with headliner Papa Mali. August 10 will feature Kingfish with headliner Mr. Sipp. September 14 will feature Jeff Crosby and the Refugees with headliner George McConnell.
“Down on Main is a great opportunity for the community to come together and listen to some great music in a great place [Fairpark],” said Sarah Stewart, a program associate at the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association. “We have a really talented lineup this year, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone come out and enjoy this annual event. We hope to see you there.”
Concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Fairpark in Downtown Tupelo. This is a free event, no tickets necessary.
No coolers allowed. Food trucks and beverage and alcohol tents will sell concessions. Viewers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.
