The University of Mississippi will dedicate the new Grove Plaza at 10:30 am Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
This significant addition to campus has been made possible through the generous contributions of Sunny and Mac Haik in memory of Frances Haik and in honor of the Haik family. The Texas natives made a $1.5 million gift to the university to create the new campus landmark, where a plaque will read, “In memory of Frances Haik. She loved Ole Miss and The Grove.”
The ceremony will feature remarks from Chancellor Glenn F. Boyce, celebrating the lasting impact of the Haik family’s dedication to the university community.
