This Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Upstream Life Insurance Company is sponsoring its annual blood drive with MS Blood Services in downtown Oxford. Nothing demonstrates commitment and support to our community than participating in an event benefiting our neighbors.
“We hope everyone will participate in the community blood drive,” said Colby Arceneaux, CEO of Upstream Life Holdings INC. “We love Oxford, and all it has to offer, that is why after attending Ole Miss, we chose to start our business and raise our families here. This holiday season, we hope residents will donate the gift of life, the next person we help might be someone you know.”

“Every blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, and there is an ongoing need for donations in our area. By giving blood, you can make a significant impact and help those in critical need,” said Angie Warren, Upstream’s Blood Drive Chair, for more than four years. “We want as many people as possible; we want this to be our best year yet. All donors receive a Visa Gift Card sponsored by Priority One, and the first thirty participants will receive a T-Shirt,” said Warren.
How to Prepare:
- Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water the day before and day of your donation.
- Eat a Nutritious Meal – Make sure to eat a healthy meal before donating.
- Bring an ID – A government-issued ID is required for all donors.
