Five-time Grammy award-winner Edgar Meyer is set to perform at the Ford Center with bluegrass virtuosos Sam Bush and Mike Marshall and Meyer’s son, violinist George Meyer on Friday, January 28 at 7:30 pm.
The performance will include new music written especially for this tour as well as works from the genre bending album Short Trip Home recorded by Edgar Meyer, Sam Bush, and Mike Marshall in 1999 with violinist, Joshua Bell.

Prior to the performance, a photography exhibition by New York photographer and University of Mississippi alum, Jenny Anderson, will have its opening starting at 6:30 pm. The exhibition titled The In Between: Intimate & Candid Moments of Broadway’s Stars features backstage photos with some of Broadway’s biggest stars including Bernadette Peters, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Sutton Foster.
The exhibition will be open from January 28 through the end of the spring semester. The opening and the exhibition are free and open to the public.
