Jeoffrey L. Gordon, 43, died Saturday, November 2, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.
Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday at North Oxford Baptist Church with Pastor Bishop Kelvin Ransey, officiant. Burial will follow at Oxford Memorial Cemetery.
Viewing will be held Friday from 11–4. Visitation will be held Friday from 5–7 at Hodges Funeral Home.
Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jeoffrey grew up in Oxford and graduated from Oxford High School in 1989, where he played football for the Chargers.
He was a Taxi driver in Oxford for many years, driving for Dixie, Oxford, and Ghost Taxi Companies.
Jeoffrey is survived by his wife, Dorothy Gordon; children Jeoffrey Sha’Dell Gordon and Rosalind Johnson all of Water Valley, Mississippi; stepmother Murdis Gordon (Columbia, Missouri); brothers Jason Gordon (Oxford, Mississippi), James Gordon Jr. (Horn Lake, Mississippi) and Jamie Stewart (Jackson, Mississippi); sisters Karonda King and Deborah Smith, both of Columbia, Missouri and Alisa Gordon (Chicago, Illinois); grandchildren Zimayah Gary and Zechariah Gordon.
