Oxford, Miss. – Magnolia Montessori School will hold its annual fundraiser on Friday, April 10 at the Powerhouse from 7 – 10 p.m.
The event, “Spring Into Auction,” will feature live music by local bands The Cakewalkers and Greater Pyrenees and will be emceed by Jim Dees. Live and silent auctions will feature diverse offerings, including a live painting by artist Chandra Williams, a vacation weekend in the Texas hills, and a catered party overlooking the Oxford Square. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.
“This is such an exciting time for our school,” said Head of School Karyn Jankowski. “We are experiencing tremendous growth, and this fundraiser is a great opportunity to raise funds for our growing student body while showing the community what Magnolia Montessori School is all about.” Video about Magnolia Montessori by Joe York will be shown during the evening, and information about the school will be available.
Tickets to the event are $25 per person and are available at Amelia on the Square, online at eventbrite.com, and from any Magnolia Montessori School parent or staff member.
