A Ford F-250, driven by an unidentified area man, went off the road at the corner of Pine Needle Road and Highway 30 at approximately 1 pm today, launched into the air at the embankment on the side of that intersection, and appeared to have rolled several times, before landing in a nearby yard. The driver was medically evacuated from the scene by helicopter, and was reported to be alive at the time. State troopers at the scene declined to make an official statement, but a report on the incident should be filed some time in the next few days, according to The Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol.
