Oxford, Miss. (TLV) – On Jan. 27 the Mississippi State Department of Health issued a boil water alert to Lafayette County residents who receive drinking water from Anchor Water Association.
The boil water notice is set to extend for at least two days. It is estimated to affect approximately 2,043 customers due to a sample showing the “presence of total Coliform bacteria.”
