How did you get into cooking? My mom cooked a lot growing up, so working in a restaurant seemed fitting.
What is the best thing about your job? Working with some of the best coworkers of my life.
Who is your favorite cook/chef? Definitely Marcus Samuelsson.
What kitchen tool/utensil could you not live without? I’ve found a peeler to be quite irreplaceable.
What is your favorite flavor combo? Spicy, with a hint of citrus.
Name three items in your fridge: Butter, heavy whipping cream, and beer.
Where do you get your best recipe ideas? Honestly, buzzfeed gives me great munchies recipes.
What is the best meal you’ve ever eaten? A five course meal at a small restaurant in Lynchburg, Tenessee. Jack Daniels in every dish.
What is the weirdest meal you’ve ever eaten? A meal I had off the coast of Greece. Most notably a dish with sea urchin.
Personal specialties: I make some mean chicken enchiladas and corn casserole.
Favorite Midnight snack: Sadly, crispitos from Chicken on a Stick.

Who would you most like to cook for and what would you prepare? Anthony Bourdain, I would just take him to Ajax.
Where do you like to dine in Oxford? Snackbar, for sure.
Favorite restaurant in the world: I can’t remember the names, but almost any restaurant in Greece.
Aspirations: To not die alone.
