- Spinach Steak Salad
It’s no secret that at least one TLV staffer is completely addicted to this salad. It’s one perfect meal for anyone on a low-carb or Primal/Paleo diet. Fresh Green Spinach, Cherry Tomatoes, Roasted Red Peppers, Caramelized Onions and Portabellas are topped off with a generous portion of perfectly-grilled filet and blue cheese. For only $10, this salad packs a ton of good protein with zero guilt.
- Bouré Salad
Boure may be known for their burgers and chic upstairs patio, but another fantastic choice is the Bouré Salad. Romaine, Red Onions, Cherry Tomatoes, Walnuts, and Blue Cheese are topped with succulent Herb-Roasted Shrimp, and that most necessary of all crunchy goodness – Bacon! The Citrus-Vinaigrette supplies just the right balance to the tart cheese. Another TLV favorite.
El Milagro:
- Fajita Taco Salad
This South-of-the-Border ensalada selection is served up in a crunchy, fried flour tortilla shell. A generous portion of Chicken or Beef, grilled fajita-style, is layered with Lettuce, Tomatoes, homemade Guacamole, Beans, and Sour Cream. For only $7.25, this salad should satisfy your tummy and your budget.

- Blackened Tuna Caesar Salad
The classic Caesar Salad is made even better when you pile on rare seared Yellowfin Tuna. The fish is blackened just right and adds a protein punch to the simple Caesar formula of Romaine lettuce, Parmesan Cheese, and homemade Croutons.

- Pig Salad
How can you not love a dish called the “Pig Salad”? Rib Cage is famous for their killer BBQ, but we’ve always known that they have one of the best salads in town. You get a generous portion of fresh Spring Mix with Shredded Cheeses, Pickles, Peppers, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and your choice of any of thier delicious smoked meats (we love the Pulled Pork, hence “Pig” salad, but you can also try Turkey, Chicken, or Tenderloin). Hint: their house dressing is an outrageously yummy mix of Ranch and Honey Mustard.
Volta Taverna:
- Traditional Salad
The TLV staffers live ridiculously close to Volta. Its proximity isn’t the only reason we return again and again for food—it’s mostly because their food is damned delicious. One of our favorite orders is the Traditional (Greek) Salad. Mixed Greens are garnished by plentiful portions of Kalamata Olives, Artichoke Hearts, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Red Onions are supplemented in the protein department by Feta. Served with your choice of dressing—one of our staffers swears by a mixture of homemade Creamy Feta and Greek Vinaigrette. You can add any of their meats—our favorites are Lamb & Beef Gyro Meat or Lemon Chicken.
