2016 brought both challenges and success for the Farm.
Yokna Bottoms Farm is planning to distribute turkeys on November 22, 2016 for its 2017 shareholders as a bonus for shareholders purchasing 2017 shares by November 15, 2016.
Keep in mind that while the Midtown market has closed for the 2016 year, Yokna Bottoms will continue to distribute to 2016 shareholders at the Oxford Community Market on both Tuesdays (2–5 pm) and Saturdays (9 am–2 pm) through November 22, 2016. This continues their long-standing tradition for shareholders of making at least 32 weekly distributions every year consistently and without interruption. Depending on the weather, they are also expecting to continue with bonus distributions for their 2016 and new share holders into December as long as their fields continue to produce food.
So, while both celebrating 2016 and planning for 2017, Yokna Bottoms is grateful for community participation in Oxford’s only community-based CSA.
Free turkeys (full shareholders) or reduced-price turkeys (half shareholders), will be distributed on November 22 at the Pavilion Oxford Community Market for you to pick up then!
2017 promises to bring improvements and advancements on the Farm as Yokna Bottoms continues its many years of community service.
2016 saw the addition of egg distribution for shareholders while continuing the Yokna Bottoms commitment of providing extreme-quality fresh natural products honestly produced with an enormous variety of offerings. 2017 promises more advancements and even greater variety of honest natural (and healthful) products.
