Chef Hugh Acheson will cook beer braised pork tacos, a delicious dish from The Chef & The Slow Cooker in a live demonstration at End of All Music on December 1. All ingredients are provided by Whole Foods Market, hot sauce by Cholula and slow cooker equipment by All-Clad. Tacos will be available for purchase with each sale benefiting Seed Life Skills. Hugh and team will hustle and bustle through each town in a big and bright, silver Airstream Travel Trailer as part of the #EndlessCaravan, proving that the faithful slow cooker is far from a fusty old pot roast machine.
Acheson’s shared passion for food, community and philanthropy matched with an eager wanderlust to explore the open road and meet people from across the country made him a perfect fit for Airstream’s innovative ‘real-people’ campaign.
Tacos from the demonstration will be sold to benefit Seed Life Skills, a non-profit that Acheson started to help get kids cooking and connect science to real life problems. Attendees can pick Hugh’s brain about all slow cooker questions, purchase books and also get them personalized. At each stop attendees will have the opportunity to enter to win an All-Clad Slow Cooker, signed cookbook and Cholula Hot Sauce. A winner will be chosen from a random drawing and the prizes will be shipped to them.
