Mid-Town Farmers’ Market fans and customers,
The market continues this Saturday, July 13th (7-11am), and below are the expected vendor highlights:
- McCullar Orchard will have peaches
- Cherry Creek Orchards will also have peaches
- The Original Grit Girl will have grits, corn meal, masa and polenta
- Zion Farms will have chicken, pork, and eggs
- Welcome Valley Farm will have field tomatoes, snap beans, squash, potatoes, onions, and okra
- Cathy Field will have rosemary focaccia, olive with parmesan cheese focaccia and basil pesto with goat cheese and tomato focaccia; and almond and chocolate biscotti
- Brewer Farm will have squash, red potatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, onions, peppers
- Rico Farm will have blueberries, blackberries and peas
- Pontotoc Ridge Blueberry Farm will have blueberries, blackberries, a few figs, jellies, jams, and pies
- Bost Farm will have tomatoes, purple-hull peas, okra, watermelon, cantaloupes, Ambrosia sweet corn, Rattlesnake green beans, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, hot peppers, and zinnias
- Yokna Bottoms Farm will most likely have onions, potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, fresh flowers, herbs and maybe more blackberries
- Sherry @7D Farm will have scones, blueberry bread, peach cobbler, grits pies, monster & cranberry cookies and the following breads: cinnamon, whole wheat, cracked wheat, whole wheat with quinoa, oat, farm house white, focaccia, challah and garlic studded baguettes
- Bryan White will have honey
- Jonathan Jernigan will have shrimp
- Sunlight Springs Certified Organic Produce will have rattlesnake green beans, squash and zucchini, shiitake mushrooms, some cucumbers, tomatoes and yellow wax beans along with other miscellaneous items.
We will have live music this week (from ~8-10 on Saturday) from Paula Miller. The Wednesday market will continue next week, running 8am to 1pm. Please note that during the Wednesday market hours, our vendors may arrive or depart any time, depending on availability of their product.

Did you know that Bost Farm can accept EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) for payment? If you know anyone who receives food benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly the Food Stamp Program), please let them know that they can now use EBT to purchase fresh healthy food at Mid-Town Farmers’ Market.
