ProMatura is deeply saddened to announce that the company’s president, Bobby Towery, passed away Saturday.
Bobby was a beloved husband, father, and son. He was an active and generous member of the Oxford and Ole Miss communities and a highly decorated Army veteran. He joined ProMatura in 2015 after serving his country honorably for 30 years.
At ProMatura, one of Bobby’s priorities was ensuring employees were taken care of. His initiatives encouraged fun, appreciation, and camaraderie. He was a friend and mentor who was generous with advice and insight. Bobby wore many hats as president. He improved business and project management and made friends around the world. We know he will be missed greatly.
Saturday morning, Bobby ran a race that supported a scholarship endowment at his alma mater, the University of Mississippi. He had a heart attack, and he died at the hospital.
As we at ProMatura grieve this unexpected loss, we hold Bobby’s family in our hearts: wife, Lisa Towery; sons, Patrick Towery and Nathan Towery; sister and brother-in-law, Julie Kaye Fanton and Bud Fanton; and mother, Kaye Bryant. We appreciate your kindness during this difficult time.
